Privacy Policy

1. Core app data processing
The app's core function is QR code and barcode scanning. Depending on the feature you choose, the app may process:
- Camera frames: used to recognize QR codes and barcodes in real time.
- User-selected images: if you choose an image for scanning, the selected image is processed for code recognition. The app does not need persistent access to your entire photo/video library for this feature.
- Scan and generated-code content: text, URLs, contact-style fields, Wi-Fi information or other content contained in or entered to create a QR/barcode may be processed locally to provide the requested function.
- Local history and preferences: scan history, favorites and settings may be stored locally on the device.
We do not intentionally upload camera frames, selected photos, or your scan history to a Conectar Sites server as part of the core scanning function.
2. Permissions
- Camera: required when you use live scanning.
- Photo/image selection: used only when you choose an image to scan. The updated app is intended to use a user-initiated Android picker rather than broad persistent media-library access.
- Internet/network access: may be used by advertising, analytics, attribution, remote configuration and crash-reporting services.
3. Analytics, diagnostics, attribution and advertising
The app package contains third-party SDKs used for app measurement, diagnostics, attribution and advertising. Depending on configuration, consent, device settings and region, these providers may process technical data such as:
- device and app identifiers, including advertising identifiers where permitted;
- IP address and approximate location inferred from network information;
- app interactions and usage events;
- app version, device model, operating-system information and language;
- crash logs, diagnostics and performance data;
- advertising interaction and attribution information.
Observed third-party technologies in the supplied app bundle include Google/Firebase services (including analytics, Crashlytics and Remote Config), Google Mobile Ads, AppsFlyer, and Meta/Facebook advertising/mediation components. These providers process data under their own privacy terms.
4. Why data is used
Data may be processed to provide scanning/generation features, remember local preferences, diagnose crashes, improve performance, measure app usage, attribute installs/campaigns, prevent abuse and fraud, and display/measure advertising where enabled.
5. Data sharing
Conectar Sites does not sell your scan history, selected images or QR/barcode content. Technical, analytics, diagnostic, attribution or advertising data may be transmitted to the third-party service providers listed above when their SDKs are active. Data may also be disclosed if required by law or to protect users, the service or legal rights.
6. Storage, retention and deletion
- Local app data: history and preferences stored on your device remain until you delete them using app controls (where available), clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app.
- Developer servers: we do not maintain a server-side copy of your QR/barcode scan history for the core scanner function.
- Third-party data: analytics, crash, attribution and advertising providers may retain technical data according to their settings and privacy policies.
For a privacy or deletion request relating to data under our control, email fernandoprodutormusical@gmail.com. We may need reasonable information to identify the relevant request. We will respond according to applicable law.
7. Accounts
The current app does not provide a Conectar Sites user-account system for the scanning functionality. If a future version adds account creation, this policy and the app will be updated to provide any deletion mechanism required by Google Play and applicable law.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the data we control. No electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Children
The app is not specifically designed to collect personal information from children. Age targeting and content declarations shown on Google Play must remain consistent with the version actually distributed.
10. International processing
Third-party providers may process technical data in countries other than your own, subject to their contractual and legal safeguards.
11. Changes
We may update this policy when the app, SDKs, permissions or legal requirements change. The revision date on this page will be updated. Material changes should also be reflected in the Google Play Data safety disclosure.
